This original oil is sold. Giclee' prints are available. This is a painting from an actual rock art site called "Buffalo Eddy" on the Idaho side of the Snake River at the entrance to the Hells Canyon. The petroglyphs depict a sacred ceremony of some kind, perhaps relating to a hunt, and is estimated to be several hundred years old. There are 200 documented rock art sites in the Hell's Canyon where human occupation there dates back 8,000 years.
Giclee' canvas prints are limited to an edition of 75, paper prints are in an edition 250. All prints are printed with archival inks on archival paper. Framing is not included but available for an additional cost.
