" I love aspen trees especially when their colors change with the seasons.This painting is all about  warm comforting colors . The aspens here are further enhanced by the addition of the golden light of  sunset.  The Greek word  for aspen is "aspis" and means shelter. Trees have always been a symbol of protection and throughout ancient legends, Aspens have been associated with overcoming fear and doubt." -M.K.
